New members are always made very welcome and we hope that by exploring this site you will be tempted to join us. Please click on the drop down tab, labelled ‘Thinking of joining?’ at the top of the page, for more detailed information.

We are a dynamic group based, as our name suggests, in Mid Staffordshire. We organise regular half and full day walks of various lengths, usually within a fifty mile radius of Stafford, although we do stray further afield on occasions.

Details of all our walks, including a map of each area can be accessed by clicking on the walk in the 'Future Walks', listed at the top of this page.

We publish a planned Walks Programme and a Newsletter every 4 months.  Subsequent amendments are reported in the 'News' section at the top of this page.

Personal notifications will be sent out by email to all those who have supplied an email address.

If you would also like to receive updates by email, then please send your address to either 'Membership' or 'Webmaster', using the addresses given in 'Links' at the top of this page.

Carole Pattison, who has recently taken on the role of organising Short and Medium length walks, has provided an excellent mix of walks thanks to the support given to her by many Walk Leaders.

She has initially taken on the role on a short term basis ,with a view to making it a more permanent position, subject to the support given to her by the walk leaders, who have done her proud and by the membership who can support her by joining as many of the walks as they are able to.
