How to update your Walk Leader training record
Please look in your emails for an email dated 9th July 2025, with the subject line "How to update your Walk Leader training record".
- If you have led 12 walks over the last three years for Ramblers groups, Ramblers Wellbeing Walks or a combination of the two, then
you can use the personalised link in the above email. It will only work for you so please do not share it. - Otherwise: the email includes details of how to complete the online training.
The new Walks Manager online system
The Ramblers are now using a new Walks Manager online system, replacing the old system called GWEM.
This change affects all walk leaders in one way or another.
The first change involves all walk leaders giving permission for their name &/or phone number to appear in the listings within the new Walks Manager. Also to ensure those details are correct. This is so we comply with GDPR ( General Data Protection Regulation ).
